PETROL ONE CORP. ANNOUNCES CONTINUED NEGOTIATIONS WITH GOVERNMENT OF NIGER
Vancouver, British Columbia – October 9, 2008 – Petrol One Corp. (the "Company") (CNQ Exchange: POV) announces an update for its shareholders. Further to the Company’s goal of
becoming a highly profitable member of the global oil and gas industry, the Company continues to negotiate with the Government of Niger on its first proposed project. Mr. Chris Parent, President of
the Company stated; "we continue to work hard along side the Government of Niger towards what we hope will be a mutually beneficial oil project to be built in the Country of Niger. We will continue to update shareholders as negotiations progress."
Additionally, the Company is also in discussions with two multinationals concerning its property in Gabon. One company is a well respected oil and gas services company who are interested in offering a total turn key operation in Gabon including the completion of 2-D seismic surveys, drilling and management of the project on an EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) basis. The Company is also discussing the possibility of a Joint Venture on the Nkani property with another multinational.
A continued focus of the Company is for the funding, construction and operation of refineries in its current areas of interest, Africa, the Middle East and Asia.
